Financial interdependence

When we use the word interdependence, we are using this meaning:

Relying on mutual assistance, support and co-operation for survival and flourishment.

Financial interdependence seems an appropriate definition of the way the financial world works.

For example, there exists interdependency between you as a consumer and those who produce the goods and services you consume.

Just think of the service and contribution of all the people who enable you to eat today, to get to work this morning, or to run the business you run.

You can call this a service chain - all the people along any service chain are interdependent upon each other. From the farmer, to the manufacturer, to the transporter, to the wholesaler, to the retailer, to the consumer.
