Investing direct
Investing directly into an investment is where you buy an asset (term deposit, property or share) directly on the market or from an institution.
In other words, you are not investing through a syndicate, managed fund or a platform which the owner is the trustee or another entity responsible for the investment structure.
You are investing in your own name and regarded as the legal owner of the investment.
It is wise to do some research before investing directly, and understand the asset class and the actual investment you are buying.
You may use the assistance of a real estate agent, stockbroker or financial adviser to purchase your investment, although you are still investing directly into the market.
