Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission

We all take as a given that the aged care services received from a relevant aged care service provider will be both applicable to individual needs and delivered in a professional manner.

However, if you do have a concern or complaint regarding the aged care services that either you, a family member or friend are receiving and have not been able to resolve this with the relevant age care service provider then the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission may need to be involved.

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission handles complaints about residential aged care facilities and services delivered under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Home Care Package.

You can lodge a complaint with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission via several different avenues. For example:

  • Telephone 1800 951 822.
  • Online via their Online Complaints Form.
  • Letter at Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission GPO Box 9819, in your capital city.
