2 Your Beliefs on Money
Turning truths back into beliefs
Should to could
By using the word 'could' instead of 'should' you may notice you feel lighter and less restricted. The 'could' often highlights choice, possibility and opportunity. The limiting nature of 'should' and obligation is removed.
'I should work hard to make a living' turns into 'I could work hard to make a living'. Using such language, when you work hard to make a living you are doing so through choice.
You can also decide to hold a new belief, such as 'I “could” have fun and make a living'.
Consider this last belief. Some people believe that making money 'should' be serious business, and there is no time for fun.
This belief has the power to take fun out of the workplace.
